10 of us, including one lady and a couple of ‘old’ rock and rollers had a great trip up to Derbyshire. Over 2.5 days, we completed the 25 mile White Peak Challenge walk, which started and ended at Bakewell and went through a wonderful variety of scenery in largely limestone countryside. We supped at good pubs and crossed so many different and challenging stiles. June was a great time to be there with wild flowers, young animals, etc. at their best and we rounded off the trip with evenings at the Buxton Opera House.
