monopoly board walk 2005

What a magical walk.
With quite a lot of help from Tim Moore's book "Do Not Pass Go", internet research and London trips, I devised this 1 day walk + bus + tube trip to cover all 22 London streets on the Monopoly board, together with 4 stations, 2 utilities, 1 jail plus community chest, chance, free parking and income and super tax buildings. 8 of us did it in March followed by 7 in May. It was a great day out, seeing a lot of this wonderful city. We considered it a good achievement to catch 2 buses, 2 tubes and to walk 10 miles on London streets in the day.
John Fr had just bought a new digital camera and set about testing it. Clicking away sometimes through bus windows and across roads, and combined with shots by other walkers, we have a good record of just how much we covered in 1 day.
