Edge of wales walk june 2007

In June-07 11 of us travelled up to North-West Wales to walk the 50 mile pilgrim trail down the western side of the Llyn Peninsular. The area is like a best kept secret with wonderful scenery both on the coast and inland. Weather was simply superb - sunny and bright without being too hot. After 4 days of walking we completed the route by crossing the sometimes treacherous sea to Bardsey Island. We were shown colonies of sea birds and told of the thousands of pilgrims that had made the journey, some to die on Bardsey. Luckily dying was not for us and we all experienced a calm and quiet the like of which we had long forgotten. Terrific walk!
