Camino de Santiago Holiday 2009

Karen and I joined an HF Holidays walking holiday on the Camino de Santiago in August-September 2009. We were a small group of six people and walked 80+ miles of the Camino, covering stages from Cruz de Hierro to Santiago which HF had selected as the best, rather than a continuum. It was a terrific walk in good walking country and in excellent weather. The walk was made more magical by the common purpose and wonderful openness of the many many pilgrims on the route, both on foot and by bike (oh yes and one with a donkey).
