Red and I sat in the middle of eight of the Usual Suspects. Brooks, SCNut, Shorty, Red, Me, KOCMike, Barb, and Douger. Over the last two weeks, I had been offered seats closer to the game or with parents, but not eight of them. I wouldn't have traded these for anything in the world.

The barbeque evidently ran itself, because everyone got fed. I thought I saw G.Friday and Red working the grill and for that I am eternally thankful. Everyone lent a hand where needed and things couldn't have run more smoothely. Shorty passed the hat and covered all of my expenses for the tailgate plus the tolls to get back home.

Aside from the company, the view was really fantastic and when it rained, we were the first dry row. Brooks is a genius.

After the players went back in, the Polamalus invited all of us back to the tailgate. We pulled the keg out of the van and brought it there. They insisted we eat and after the first few guys raved about the food, we all joined in. Al Polamalu was doing the cooking and when saw my Goux Trojans hat, he hit the roof. "Marv Goux is my favorite coach ever!. He recruited my brother and I would have played for him any day! I love that hat!" The hat was his.
