Intergalactic Wanderer NGC2419. A globular star cluster in Lynx (the faint fuzzy in the center of the image), NGC 2419 is sometimes called the Intergalactic Wanderer because initially it was thought to be aimlessly wandering amongst the galaxies of the Local Group. However, more recent measurements seem to indicate that it is gravitationally bound to the Milky Way and therefore not a true wanderer as its name suggests.
