Steve, I used the old 16-35 f/2,8 on a 5D. The photo was edited in DPP, that allows you to correct distortion, chromatic aberration and vignetting in a very easy way.
Oh well, I recuperated a slight vignetting in Photoshop ;-)
Adal, I agree with Jeanne, this looks like the perfect environment for a Cindy Sherman show. And your image reflects her unique way of seeing/being in the world. I envy you. Would love to see a solo exhibit of her work!

I do so hope your imaginary exhibit actually comes to be...what a perfect use of an extreme wide angle...(and don't you just love the idea of combining Cindy Sherman's outrageous images with this extraordinary architecture! Just saw an exhibit of her work recently and this space looks as if it compplemmented her work so much better than the Neuberger, where I was...)
