...and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into spades.

Visiting Jerusalem, I came across a group of
soldiers who left their weapons behind, under the watch of two sentries,
and made a visit to the archeological site nearby.
Could it be that when they are back they will
have found that their rifles have turned into ploughshares ?
Am I too optimistic ? naive ?

wow. i'm sorta at a loss for words. i'm surprised you were allowed to take the photo. security here in DC is so tight, I most likely wouldn't be allowed even that close to this.
