A berlini Neues Museum az egyik legcsodálatosabb és magával ragadóbb múzeum, amiben valaha jártam. Az épület a második világháború során súlyosan megrongálódott; 1997-től a brit sztárépítész, David Chipperfield vezetésével részletekbe menően restaurálták és helyreállították. 2009 október 17-én a Neues Museum újra megnyitotta kapuit a nagyközönség előtt.

The Neues Museum in Berlin is one of the most wonderful and fascinating museums I have ever been to. After being badly damaged in the Second World War, the building has been elaborately restored and recreated under the direction of the British star architect David Chipperfield. On 17 October 2009 the Neues Museum opened its doors to the public again.
