Brugmansia suaveolens (often misnamed "Datura")

Several forms and colours (from pure white, through yellow, peach to pink) of this rapidly growing and profusely flowering shrub. The scent of the blossom is beautiful, especially in the evening, but all parts of the plant (especially the seed-pods) are highly toxic. Rumour has it (never tried it!) that smoking the dried leaves has an effect similar to taking LSD.
