At the end of our ten day stay in Beijing, we were blessed to enjoy three days of touring with two delightful graduate nursing students, Li Jiao and Jing Yun, from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine School of Nursing where Mary gave a lecture on Friday, October 19. You will see them frequently. They spoke pretty good English. This helped us immensely, especially at restaurants.

11/15/12 update: I added some photos taken at the Bookworm, a popular hang out for expats in Beijing. Then you will find photos connected with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The School of Nursing Dean was a Visiting Professor at The University of Rochester in 2009-2010. She invited Mary to come and give a lecture when she found out Mary would be at the International Continence Society annual meeting in Beijing. The School put us up at a great hotel and offered us exceptional hospitality including the students who joined us for 3 days of touring. We enjoyed the famous Peking Duck twice, once with the Dean and another Professor and once with the 2 students.
