The hospitality offered by Pat and Roger was extraordinary. This gallery includes photos of their beautiful garden. A ten minute walk from their home brought us to the famous, historic Clifton Suspension Bridge over the very tidal Avon. You can see photos at high tide and low tide. The famous engineer Brunel designed this bridge and also the luxury steamship GREAT BRITAIN, built in 1841, now part of a very interesting museum in Bristol. Photos of the Saint Mary Redcliffe Cathedral are also included.
