Exactly one year ago today I was in hospital having surgery.
I found a lump in my breast. Panic lasted a couple of hours then the
appointment was made to see my GP. Our wonderful NHS moved quickly and efficiently
and I was admitted for surgery... on my Birthday! I wasn't going to turn the offer
of surgery down just because of the date, I wanted it asap!
I'm now lump free and beginning my second year of medication to keep me that way.
