A passer-by stopped for me to take this photo as I was standing in the middle of the pavement looking up. I thanked him and noticed the quizzical look on his face.
I wondered how many times he had walked this way and not seen this small window in the roof of the arcade.
I'm sure that photographers see more, LOOK more than other people.

I agree...I have learned to look around and look up. Of course the passerby wouldn't see anything in this worthy of attention...unlike you who saw it's grungy potential :)
