Life at 2.39:1

2.39:1 is an aspect ratio used in cinematic films, with the image 2.39 times as wide as it is tall. The format comes about from using anamorphic lenses with standard 35mm movie film.....

...and it seems like a nice ratio to play around with:)

When looking at these pictures it's not clear why we continue to use the 3:2 (or worse the 4:3) format. Creative and interesting gallery. Highly V
