38-15-11 Chester County, Larkin Covered Bridge

The Larkin Covered Bridge is shown as being in Marsh Creek Park on some web sites, but as of Sept 7, 2005, it is no longer there. A park ranger told me the bridge had just been dismantled (it was apparently in very bad shape) and moved to a different location for possible reconstruction. He thought it may have moved to Hickory Park, but I wasn't able to find it. If you have further information on this bridge, please let me know. July 2006 update: The bridge is now on Graphite Mining Rd, 0.2 miles off Byers Rd, in Eagle PA.

I was just checking your site again, and noticed this post. The Larkin Bridge was relocated in April of 2006. Here is a link to it with the location.

I think this bridge was already moved. Just saw a pic of it in Miles Carver's gallery :)
