Invited by some friends, we spent a day at the Winery Thera, at Bom Retiro, a small town about 150 km west from Florianópolis. In that region, several wine companies, relatively new, are growing grapes to produce wine. They call it 'vinho de altitude' since the vineyards are about 1000 meters above the sea level, at the Serra Catarinense. The white wine is already very good and the red is improving, year by year. The place (hostel, breakfast-living room house and restaurant) is very beautiful and the owners have plans to expand the attractions in the property (about 800 hectares). In the restaurant, the chef prepares tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The scenery is indeed beautiful, where the vineyards are side by side with the 'araucária' trees. It is unique I guess.
I was luck: in general, I do prefer overcast wheater rather than sunshine. I used my Fujifilm X-T2 (bought few months ago) and the XC lenses 16-50mm and 50-230mm; standard (Provia) jpegs was chosen.
