Traveling in space and time: the Soviet Union in 1982 with Kodachrome

In 1982, when living in France for my studies, we (me and my wife Magi, at the time) had the opportunity of visiting the USSR by an organized tour having the locations, dates and attractions pre-defined (only way to go to the USSR). We visited Moscow, Leningrad (now called Saint Petersburg) and Kiev in Ukraine (in that time, it was part of the USSR). From Moscow to Leningrad, we took a night train and from Leningrad to Kiev, a flight with Aeroflot. In spite of having the attractions and schedules defined, we had a limited freedom and I could take the subway and walk on streets, for some personal photographs. In that trip I used an Olympus OM-1n for Black-White pictures and an Olympus OM-2n for color, with the Kodachrome 64, the best film for color slides. I had the Olympus Zuiko lenses 21/3.5, 35/2 and 100/2.8 and the tele Tokina 200/3.5. Instead of scanning the slides, I photographed them with the digital Olympus E-M1 II and the very efficient Zuiko Macro 30mm F3.5. It was necessary to adjust the pictures (and cleaning them from dust and fungus) with ACDSee, but the photos, themselves, were not modified.
