Québec on a Rainy Day (Slides from 2001)

In this area, the French culture is very strong, respected and maintained since Québec was a French colony inside the predominant English culture of Canada. Québec city was founded in 1608 by Samuel Champlain. The streets and buildings are quite similar to those of Normandy and Bretagne in France. The main attraction is the Chateau de Frontenac finished in 1893 at the banks of the Saint Laurent river. The pictures were taken on a rainy day, which I consider interesting for color photography. I used a Sensia Fuji slides film; the slides were macro-photographed with a Lumix G5 camera and a Olympus macro 30mm/3.5 lens.
