In June 1995, after a conference in Berlin – where I got close to our friend Arnulf Kost, who was the Chairman – I walked in the town and, particularly, visited the Pergamon Museum, built with the ruins of Pergamon, an important grecque city (from 300~100 BC). In the museum, parts of the town were recreated with the original Pergamon parts. Following our plan, we visited Dresden, reintegrated to Germany after Berlin wall fall. At that time, its cathedral was under reconstruction and I remember that in 2005 it would be finished, as it actually occurred. In sequence, by train, we went to Prague. It is a very exciting city located by the Vitava River. The main attractions are the Saint Charles bridge, the cathedral Saint Vito, the Astronomical Clock and overall, the bars, the beer, and downtown with vivid streets. The pictures were taken with Fuji slide films and my Canon EOS A2 (similar to the EOS 5) and the Canon lenses 24mm, 35mm, 85mm and the zoom 75-300mm. Instead of scanning slides, I photographed them with an Olympus E-M1 II and an old macro lens Olympus 50/3.5.

Em junho de 1995, fui numa conferência em Berlin – onde comecei a ter um contato mais próximo com o nosso amigo Arnulf Kost, que coordenava esse evento – e tive a oportunidade de passear na cidade e, em particular, visitar o Museu Pergamon, construído com as ruinas dessa cidade grega (300~100 AC). No interior do museu, foi reconstruído partes da cidade com as suas peças originais. Na sequência, visitamos a cidade de Dresden, que foi reintegrada na Alemanha após a queda do Muro de Berlin. Na época, sua catedral ainda se encontrava sob reconstrução e, lembro-me, isso seria finalizado em 2005, como de fato, ocorreu. De trem, continuamos nossa rota e fomos à Praga. Cidade muito alegre localizada às margens do Rio Vitava. Suas principais atrações são a Ponte São Carlos, o Relógio Astronômico, sua catedral São Vito e, sobretudo, seus bares, cerveja e o centro com ruas coloridas. Essas fotografias são reproduções de slide Fuji; as fotos foram feitas com uma Canon EOS A2 (similar à EOS 5) com as lentes Canon 24mm, 35mm, 85mm e o zoom 75-300mm. Os slides não foram scaneados; foram macro fotografados com uma Olympus E-M1 II e uma antiga lente Olympus 50mm/3.5 macro.
