A.R. Leão, Arnulf Kost ('le berlinois') and I, we decided to visit Patagonia, south of Argentina. We landed in Buenos Aires, where we spent one night (few pictures) and we flew to El Calafate, in the heart of Patagonia. This nice small town was our base. With a rented car we drove to the village El Chalten. The Mountain Fitz Roy, one of attractions, was hidden by clows, as it is often the case. We visited the surroundings. In another day, we drove to the Glacier Perito Moreno, one of the biggest in the world. Finally, in a longer tour (about 400 km) we went to Torres del Payne, in Chili, but close to the boarder - near Porto Castillo. That is a beautiful place for nature photographers. I don't consider that I am in this class but, of course, I could not resist on taking some pictures there. The photos were taken with my Contax RX and the CZ 25/2.8, 35/2.8, 35-70/3.4, 135/2.8 and 2X Tokina converter. The film was scanned by a Nikon Coolscan V.
