Em 1977 ou 1978, quando morava na França (já interessado em fotografia), num fim de semana fui no "Marché aux Puces" (Mercado de Pulgas) na Porte de Montreuil, periferia leste de Paris. A maior parte das fotos aqui apresentadas foram feitas nesse local. Os mercados de pulga são tradicionais na França e lá se encontram coisas dos mais diferentes tipos, tanto velhas como também novas como, por exemplo, vestimentas de baixo custo e de baixa-média qualidade. Há também, seguidamente, músicos, lanchonetes e atrações diversas. Visitá-los, é um passeio bem comum para os parisienses. Além do mercado da Porte de Montreuil há também outros como o da Porte de Clignancourt, no norte da cidade, bem maior e com muitos antiquários de objetos e móveis. Para completar essa apresentação, inclui também algumas fotos da parte norte de Paris (algumas delas já presentes em outras galerias do site). Quanto ao aspecto técnico, na época usava uma Olympus OM-2n e as lentes Zuiko 28/3.5, 50/1.8, 100/2.8 e 200/5. O filme era, em geral, o Kodak Tri-X. Os negativos foram macro-fotografados com uma Olympus E-M1 II e a lente macro Zuiko 30/3.5. Os negativos foram então invertidos, limpos (de arranhões, poeiras e fungos) e tratados com o software ACDSee.

In 1977-1978, when living in France and already interested in photography, during a weekend I visited the "Marché aux Puces" (flea market) at Porte de Montreuil, east of Paris. The majority of photos shown here were taken there. These flea markets are traditional in France where a variety - old and new (as low cost clothes) - can be found. Musicians, bars and different attractions are also present. Visiting such places is a popular and common tour for parisiens. There are other flea markets, such as the Porte de Clignancourt, nord of Paris, which is large with many furniture and objects sold by antiquaires. To provide additional information about this region, I included some other photos of the nord area of Paris (some of these pictures are also present in other galleries). At that time, I was using the Olympus OM-2n camera with the Zuiko lenses 28/3.5, 50/1.8, 100/2.8 and 200/5. The film Kodak Tri-X was employed for the majority of photos. The negatifs were macro-photographed with the Olympus E-M1 II camera and the macro lens Zuiko 30/3.5. Finally, they were inverted, cleaned and treated with ACDSee.
