O Jardim de Luxembourg se situa numa área central de Paris (próximo ao Quartier Latin). É muito bonito e bem cuidado. Seu prédio principal (Palais de Luxembourg) é - talvez entre outras funções - a sede do Senado Francês. É amplo, com muitas estátuas e monumentos que rendem homenagem a personalidades da cultura francesa. Há forte alusão à cultura grega. Em novembro (2022) as cores do outono se fazem presentes na botânica do parque. Este foi o principal interesse das fotografias aqui propostas. Nesse momento, tínhamos alugado um apartamento no Boulevard Raspail, bem próximo ao Jardim de Luxembourg, onde fazíamos uma caminhada matinal. Além das fotos do jardim, inclui outras de locais próximos, como a Catedral de Notre Dame (em reconstrução), alguns prédios situados nas ruas próximas ao apartamento e também da Île Saint-Louis. Os prédios mencionados, bem típicos da capital, são da primeira metade do século 20 com detalhes arquitetônicos de rara beleza e criatividade.

The Jardin du Luxembourg is located in a central area of Paris, close to the Quartier Latin. It is beautiful and well maintained. Its main building (the Palais de Luxembourg) is - maybe among other functions - the Senate of France. It is a large garden, with a large number of monuments and statues related to French writers and influential personalities. There is also an allusion to Greek history. In November (2022) the Fall season colors are present on plants and trees. It was the main motivation for the pictures proposed here. We rented an apartment at the Boulevard Raspail (close to the park) and every morning we went there for a walk. Some photos from nearby areas were also included as on Notre Dame Cathedral (under reconstruction) and the Île Saint Louis. Some typical buildings, close to our apartment (from the first half of the 20th century) were also photographed; their architectural details are of rare beauty and creativity.
