Paris 19ème: Walking on this "almost forgotten" Arrondissement (2015)

You certainly know: Paris is divided in 20 neighborhoods, called 'arrondissements'. When, for personal reasons, I had to go to the 19th arrondissement, I noticed how nice it is. Not considered as a fancy area, the charm of the 19th comes from the tranquility, simplicity and, overall, its cosmopolitan French life style. It is rarely on tourist booklets. It is located at the nord-east of Paris whose most known spot is the 'Cimetière Père LaChaise', where Arago, Apollinaire, Guy de Maupassant, Balzac, Jim Morrison, Gilbert Bécaud, Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Man Ray, among many other personalities, rest in peace. This cemetery is a photo subject itself and it will be treated separately, later. My 3 hours walking started at Place Gambetta, following the Rue des Pyrénnés, Avenue Simon Bolivar and finished on Rue de Belleville when it became dark. Of course, there is much more to be seen at the 19ème and, when having the chance to be back, I will take more time to explore this arrodissement. In this folder there are some other pictures taken nearby (it is indicated). I used my Panasonic G7 and the zoom 14-140mm.
