New Your City: Some Pictures of the Bronx and Coney Island (July 2015)

We spent few days at NYC after a conference in Montreal, Canada. Instead of visiting commom places in Manhattan, we - Arnulf Kost and I - we decided to take a look at more 'suburban' areas. In that 4th July, we visited the Bronx in the morning and Coney Island in the afternoon. Good decision: we could see places where people from NYC live and go. In the Bronx, we walked on the Third Avenue, which seems to be the Bronx heart. Later, after a long subway trip, we arrived at Coney Island, where there is a large amusement park; the biggest I've ever seen. Very vivid and crowded place with a considerable diversity of people in a warm atmosphere. Finally, in this folder I also included some few pictures taken in the Brooklin area and bridge. For Coney Island and Bronx photos, I used a Lumix G7 and the Panasonic 14-140mm zoom. For the last ones, an Olympus Stylus 1.

João Pedro, percebe-se claramente o ponto de vista popular, do cotidiano. Aqui sim é mais desafiador pois existe muita poluição visual. Os "locais", são mostrados como tal, absolutamente descontraídos e naturais. Você mostrou a realidade do povo. Belos enquadramentos e composições aprimoradas. Parabéns
