Nosso grupo de pesquisa na UFSC manteve - e ainda mantém - uma forte colaboração com o prestigioso laboratório ENSEEIHT de Toulouse. Neste folder, as fotos mostradas são relativas às primeiras missões de trabalho que efetuei entre 1985 e 1990, aproximadamente. Nos fins de semana, visitei as cidades Montauban, Saint-Gaudens e Albi (entre outras), próximas de Toulouse. Neste conjunto de fotografias apresento aquelas feitas nesses locais. Porém, por esquecimento, é difícil relembrar a associação de fotos e lugares. Portanto, algumas têm uma indicação genérica de local. Nada impede de apreciar a beleza dessas cidades, típicas da região sudoeste da França. Edificações em tijolos são comuns, visto a abundância deste material no local. Toulouse é chamada de "ville rose" por essa razão e as cidades próximas apresentam forte semelhança com Toulouse. Tínhamos - e temos - vários amigos que trabalhavam nesse laboratório; além de nos acolher com atenção e gentileza, nos indicaram vários pontos de interesse para passear e fotografar. Essas fotos foram feitas em filmes de slide que se deterioraram muito com o tempo. Os slides foram macro-reproduzidos; porém a eliminação de distorções de cor (principalmente dominantes magenta e cian), nos levou a fotos quase monocromáticas, levemente coloridas. Elaborando esse folder, vem a vontade de revisitar essa bela região da França e rever nossos amigos.

Our research group in Brazil had - and still have - a strong collaboration with the prestigious ENSEEIHT laboratory, located in Toulouse. The pictures presented here are related to the period 1985~1990, during my first work missions to the ENSEEIHT for scientific purposes. On the weekends, I visited Montauban, Saint-Gaudens and Albi (among others) which are close to the Toulouse area. In this gallery, pictures taken in these cities are shown. Because it is difficult to remember the association city-photos, some legends have only generic location indications. More relevant is to appreciate the beauty of the cities, which are typical of the south-west of France. The buildings are commonly constructed with red bricks and that is the reason why Toulouse is called the "ville rose". We had - and still have - very kind friends who worked in that lab and they indicated us the places to visit and photograph. The pictures were taken with slide films; the time deteriorated them a lot, especially on chromatic aspects.They were macro-photographed but the elimination of color distorsions (mainly magenta and cyan) results on photos almost monochromatic, slightly colored. Releasing this gallery, I feel like going back to this beautiful French region and saying hello to our friends.
