The Joshua Tree Park, CA (January 2018)

In January 2018 we visited Carolina and Glenn, who live in Irvine, CA. We drove to the Joshua Tree Park (around 120 km far) in a sunny day.
The Joshua tree itself has a particular nature: a mixture of cactus and tree. This park is located at the west part of the Mojave Desert. It is a superb place for hiking.
We saw several people taking the suggested trails in spite of the hot sun. For a short visit, there is a recommended road crossing the most interesting spots. The Keys View cannot be missed.
Glenn reminded me about one of the first albuns (LPs) of U2, called 'Joshua Tree' (1987) whose cover was pictured of this area.
I used my Olympus E-M5 II and a Panasonic 14-140mm lens. Maybe because of the U2 LP cover, I decided to turn most of the pictures on BW.
Some were kept in color for a realistic impression of the park.
