In 2005 I travel to Shenyang, northeast of China for an electrical engineering conference. I stopped in Beijing and Tokyo on the way back. In some occasions, during this trip, I used my reflex camera for slide photography but I was carrying a small Point/Shot camera, the Konica Lexio (with a 28-70mm zoom) and Kodak Tmax-400 for BW pictures. In Tokyo I used my Contax Rx (and mainly the sharp CZ 35-70/3.4) for BW. That was a rainy day in Tokyo. Not very comfortable for shooting but somewhat different pictures could be obtained. In this folder I also inserted some Tokyo photos taken in a 2004. I used a classical camera, the Werra I, produced by Carl Zeiss Jena in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The fixed lens is a Tessar 50/2.8. It is a viewfinder one without rangefinder. It is a quite curious and particular camera and if you are interested on classical equipment, a search in the web will provide much information on this gear. This camera was - and still is - a nice gift of my friend Arnulf Kost, 'le berlinois'. He, actually, presented me with several classical cameras and I am really grateful for it. The film used was the Kodak Tmax-400. The photos here shown were obtained directly from my BW prints photographed with the Olympus OM-D E-M1.
