Lomme is a neighborhood of Lille built for the miners and textile workers in the 1930s. The houses are quite thin but normally have 3 floors and they are long, having a backyard (English style, I think). They are very charming and nowadays people look for. It is the case of my colleague and friend Yvonnick who bought a very nice one and lives there with his family.
