Grenoble is located at the heart of the Alpes Mountains. From Grenoble it is possible to visit several places in the Alpes area. The city itself has interesting places to be pictured. These photos were taken in two occasions: end of 2012 and July 2013. Not far from Grenoble (about 100 km) there is Annecy, a nice town by the Alpes Mountains with its famous lake. It is an old town crossed by canals. Visiting it is highly recommendable. Finally, driving towards the italian boarder from Grenoble, we arrived to Briançon, a small town with much italian influency. In the past (and also now) it is a Alpes location in between France and Italy and relatively far from large cities. Briançon has several sky facilities, very appreciated. Most of photos were taken with a Olympus E-M5 and some few with a P/S Sony HX10V.
