Florianópolis: Old Slides (1984-2000)

Em tempos de Corona Vírus (Julho/2020), em casa, fui novamente revisitar velhas fotografias feitas com filme (slides) entre, aproximadamente, os anos 1984 e 2000. Se trata de um trabalho documental unicamente com fotos da cidade de Florianópolis, onde moro desde 1984. Naquela época, com fotos que julguei interessantes, fiz uma apresentação de slides, incluindo acompanhamento musical. Usava meu projetor Rollei com uma boa lente de projeção, que ainda possuo. O título da apresentação foi “Quanto à Florianópolis”. A procura dos slides, sua reprodução, tratamento das imagens (reenquadramento, retirada de poeiras-fungos e ajuste-correção de cores) me tomou muitas horas, preenchendo esse tempo em casa. Imagino que esse conjunto de fotos poderá ter um certo interesse para quem viveu na cidade nessa época e que irá perceber certas modificações em diferentes locais. Os slides foram fotografados com uma câmera digital Olympus E-M1 Mk II e uma lente macro Olympus 35mm F3.5. Tenho dificuldade de lembrar de todos os dados, como ano e equipamento. Porém para as fotos cujos dados estão na memória, inseri datas e equipamentos.

In time of Corona Virus (July/2020), at home, I revisited my old slide (diapositive) pictures of Florianópolis in the 1984-2000 period. It is a documental work related only to this city, where I live since 1984. In that time, I chose some photos and put together a slide show called “As for Florianópolis”. There was a musical accompaniment and I used my Rollei Projector with a good projection lens for showing it to my friends. The search of photos, their reproduction and adjustment (cropping, fungus-dust cleaning, color calibration, etc..) took me several hours, at home, as required by the confinement. I believe that such a gallery has a particular interest for people who lived in Florianópolis at that time since they can spot the differences in town. The slides were macro-photographed with an Olympus E-M1 Mk II camera and the Olympus Macro 35mm F3.5 lens. It is hard to remember all the data but for some pictures, when possible, I inserted date and equipment.
