Two Santa Catarina amazing roads: Serra do Corvo Branco and Rio do Rastro (2024)

Nesta viagem utilizei a câmera Olympus E-M1 Mk III e as lentes Olympus 12/2, 17/1.8, 45/1.8 e 75/1.8.

English:
In Santa Catarina state there are two beautiful roads connecting the littoral to the mountains ("serra"). They are the Serra do Corvo Branco (White Crow) and Serra do Rio do Rastro roads. From Florianópolis, we drove on the BR101 road passing by Tubarão, Gravatal and Braço do Norte. From the latter, we took the north exit and we went to Grão Pará, a small village close to the Corvo Branco road. In a few km, there is a 1000 meters climb with a nice mountain scenery. From the highest point of the road we drove to Urubici, an important city of the Serra de Santa Catarina (it deserves a gallery and it will certainly be done in the future); we visited the Rio Canoas area on the way to Urubici. We slept in this town and the next day, we drove towards the Serra do Rio do Rastro road passing by Vacas Gordas (Fat Cows) and Pericó, small villages near Urubici. We reached Bom Jesus da Serra, very close to the point where the impressive descent starts. It is totally pavimented and it is a well known tourist spot of the state. The trip continues passing by Lauro Muller, Orleans, São Ludgero and reaching Braço do Norte. From this town we drove back to Florianópolis by the same way chosen before. For the pictures, I used the Olympus E-M1 Mk III camera with the Olympus lenses 12/2, 17/1.8, 45/1.8 and 75/1.8.
