Chile, Santiago (2015)

Arriving at Santiago, we stayed there for one day and we drove south. But before leaving the country we spent some more few days there. Santiago has about 4 million inhabitants and it has interesting spots. Downtown has several pedestrian streets and an active commerce. There are many (relatively) old buildings from the late 1800s (or early 1900s I guess) in European style. Lastarria is a vivid neighborhood with typical restaurants; it is a good place for having diner. It is not a cheap place but not very expensive either. It applies to the whole country. In this folder there are some pictures of Santiago but it is far from being exhaustive. It contains also some pictures taken on the road when leaving or returning to Santiago. I think the pictures are not so good, then, please, take them as simple 'traveling shots'. I used an Olympus E-M1 camera and the Zuiko 14-150mm (majority of photos), the Zuiko 9-18mm and, for low light, the Panasonic 20mm/1.7.
