Chile; Puerto Varas and Surroundings (2015)

After a short visit to Santiago, we drove to the Lacs Region ('Région de los Lagos') 1100 km south of Santiago. For the first night sleeping, we stopped at Concépcion, which would be better called 'Decépcion'. We arrived at Puerto Varas, the nicest town in the Lagos area. The volcano Osorno is 'always' present on virtually any view point in that area. In Puerto Varas, we stayed at the nice 'Colonos del Sur' Mirador hotel. The next day, we took a guided tour (bus and boat) to the small town Peulla, after crossing the 'Lago de Todos los Santos'. The following day we visited Puerto Montt and we drove to Maullin. We were quite lucky on choosing Maullin; it is a very typical and interesting little town. Then, we took our way back to Santiago visiting, shortly, Frutillar and Puerto Octay. For the pictures, I used my Olympus E-M1 and the lenses Zuiko 14-150mm, 9-18mm and the Panasonic 20mm/1.7.
