Em novembro (2022) fomos à Bruxelas para visitar a cidade e familiares de Françoise que lá vivem. Ir a Bruxelas significa - fotograficamente - visitar a La Grand Place, local central da cidade. Como diz o nome, é uma praça grande e retangular, com belos monumentos e edificações do século 17 (mais detalhes históricos podem ser obtidos pela internet). É a principal atração de Bruxelas e os seus quatro limites contém construções impressionantes. Este conjunto é único na Europa. Nas redondezas, há a Galerie de la Reine, uma passagem coberta com inúmeras lojas, restaurantes e típicas chocolaterias. Os arredores são também interessantes e há algumas fotos desses locais. Claro, há muitas atrações nesta simpática cidade, mas o nosso tempo era limitado.

In November 2022 we spent two days in Brussels visiting Françoise's relatives. It is not possible -for a photographer - to be in Brussels without visiting La Grand Place. It is located in the central area of the town. It is a rectangular and relatively large plaza with very beautiful monuments and buildings from the 17th century (more historical details can be found on the net). La Grand Place is the most known and visited attraction of Brussels. The four limits of the square contain impressive constructions, unique in Europe. Nearby, there is the Galeria de la Reine, another nice spot; it is a covered walkway with several stores, restaurants and chocolatiers. The streets near this gallery are also interesting and some pictures were taken there. Obviously, there are many other attractions in this nice town, but our time was quite limited.
