Biguaçu é uma cidade (70.000 habitantes) da região continental da Grande Florianópolis. É relativamente extensa e fora do seu centro, possui algumas atrações como o Museu e a Igreja de São Miguel, região há muitos restaurantes com comida típica baseada em frutos do mar. Nesta mesma área há um aqueduto já bastante antigo que, próximo à igreja e ao museu, atrai a atenção de quem circula pela estrada BR 101. O Rio Biguaçu passa pelo município e sua interessante foz chega no mar frontalmente à Ilha de Santa Catarina, onde temos a cidade de Florianópolis na sua parte central e insular. Ainda, ao lado da foz, há a praia do João Rosa, com barcos de pesca, alguns sob reparos. São essas áreas que nos motivaram (Norton José e eu) a fazer algumas fotografias recentemente (outubro de 2019). Coloquei neste folder algumas outras feitas anteriormente nos mesmos locais.

Biguaçu is a town with 70,000 inhabitants in the area of Grande Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina state. It is located in the continent and has some attractions as the Museum and the Church of São Miguel, with also several restaurants with typical food (mainly fish and shrimps). In São Miguel there is an old Aqueduct next to the church and the museum. It catches the attention of people driving along the BR 101 road. The Biguaçu River crosses the city and its very interesting mouth is located in front of the insular part of Florianópolis. Close to Biguaçu River mouth, there is the João da Rosa beach, with several fishing boats; some for repair. With my photo-friend Norton José, we recently (October 2019) visited these attractions for photographing them. I also included in this gallery, some few other older pictures related to the same subjects.
