The Grand Mosque was built in 1656 by Emperor Shah Jahan. The mosque building represents the body. The big dome represents the head. The two smaller domes represent the shoulders. The two thin minarets in the front represent the two arms raised in prayer. The center of the building represents the stomach, where (spiritual) nourishment occurs.
