The camera frame is constructed from 1/4 inch plywood, 8 inches square,
with a 2 1/4 inch round cutout for the lens
and a 1 5/8 inch square cutout, just a little smaller than the slides.
Quarter-inch fully threaded 6 inch carriage bolts, various washers, nuts, and wing nuts complete the assembly.
The styrofoam piece is used to stabilize the right side of camera. Perhaps an assortment of colorful rubber bands would help?
TV tray tables form the two supports for the camera and provide a convenient place for the lamp clamps.
Light source is two GE Reveal 75-watt bulbs, full spectrum light (according to the ads).
The original white paper on the floor has been replaced with a two by three foot sheet of 1/2 inch plywood with two coats of white paint.
