Black and Red Broadbill (Cymbirhynchus macrohynchos)
The dark maroon red contrast well with the blue bill and white streaks go well on
the black wings. It was hard getting this one as they were always under canopy
cover shooting through gaps. They average 23 cm in length.

Habitat: Broadleaved evergreen and semi-evergreen jungle and jungle edge near
water, fresh water swamp jungle up to 300m.
