Awana, Genting Highlands - Pahang, Malaysia

Verditer Flycatcher (Eumyias thalassina)
The bluish tinge on this flycatcher has a sheen to it and can be “overblown” easily if
exposure is not controlled. Caught in the morning sun at Awana (Old Pumphouse Road)
– Genting, Pahang, Malaysia. This bird averages 16 cm in size.

Habitat : More open broadleaved evergreen jungle, clearings and mangrove on migration up to 1220m in West Malaysia.
