Finally, after 7 long years without a ride for various reasons I realised once a biker, always a biker.

I had looked around, even went into the local Triumph outlet to see what Hinckley had to offer as their irrepressible triples had been at the back of my mind for a long long time. Nowt came out of that as they did not have the new range of Tigers 2015 models out yet.

Then I was told about the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer and read all about it. The local distributors were not bringing it in. Sigh.

Finally on a rainy June afternoon I was told the 2015 Versys 650 was coming to a dealership near me. So sod all else and waited patiently. It came, in only black for Malaysia. The first one that came off the ramp of the delivery truck had me say to myself that was mine. And the rest, cliche as it is... is history
