Motometer Outside Thermometer Temperature Gauge - p/n 612.013.1006 (C) & p/n 612.013.1007 (F)

Direct from Italy, NOS in the original box, but missing the factory instructions. Not sure yet exactly where I'm going to install this gauge on the dash of my 914-6 GT. There is some space to the left of the BOSCH push-pull twin ignition switches https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/89596749. One possibility is to raise the headlight switch up a bit and mount the gauge just under it.

Here is a photo I took of the Lufthansa 914-6 GT at Rennsport II (Wow! Did I really say "II"? Time flies!) https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/28506762 it shows the fuel gauge on the left side of the dash, I could use the same location for the Motometer thermometer arranging the ignition pull/push switches just above the gauge. We'll see...

Here I'm doing a quick check of the gauge inside a freezer, it seems to work https://pbase.com/image/143928852 but I will have to use a more accurate thermometer to compare and further test against the Motometer gauge. I could try and use my Infrared Temp Gun and see how that works.
