Unbenonst to me, this set https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/35129516 of factory 80mm MAHLE 906 alloy/chrome cylinders came with a one-year only 69' 911S MAHLE piston set (casting #80P26 E). I purchased the pistons and cylinders from Mr. Douglas several years ago and was not aware of this at the time.

FYI, the 906 and 69' 911S MAHLE pistons https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/36816642 are nearly identical, one has to be very careful to make sure you're getting the the parts you need, if this is important to you. Since both the 906 and 69' 911S MAHLE pistons are equally as rare, I'm not one bit unhappy about my initial oversight, I actually ended-up selling the 69' piston set to someone that really needed them I couldn't use them.
