Crankcase Modification to Accept the Late Marelli 2.8 RSR Twin-Plug Distributor

As we all know, the early 2.0 liter crankcases https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/96707606 was designed to use a 27mm neck distributor such as the 'early type' Marelli distributor https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/32536440, as opposed to the 2.8 RSR crankcase which uses a larger 30mm neck distributor like the 'late type' twin-plug Marelli https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/96705483.

To secure the distributor in place, the early Marelli uses a 'clamping collar' https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/23605097 while the late Marelli uses a threaded-stud and its slotted body to lock-it in place.
