Mileage: 60k original miles
Description - This car is a very rare, and well sorted out original factory 914/6 with a correctly-executed 911 Carrera 3.2 liter engine transplant with a rebuilt Motronic Brain. The brakes have been upgraded based on the 944 Turbo/ 911 C2 brake system. The suspension has been modified with Yellow adjustable Konis in the front, and 140 lb springs over Bilstein Sport shocks in the rear. The transmission has been recently upgraded to a Rennshift shifter with fresh bushings connected to the rebuilt side-shifting 901 gearbox, Patrick Motor Sports flywheel, and kevlar clutch. Other upgrades include an Earl’s oil cooler in the front, Canton/Mecca remote oil filter, VDO rebuilt gauges from P.A. Speedometer, Turbo Tie Rods, clutch tube restoration, Terry Cable accelerator cable, fresh factory ignition switch, and Bosch Carrera starter. The interior has been restored, upgraded, including a 930S leather wrapped steering wheel, and the backpad has been partially recovered in black Porsche Factory leather. Many other modifications, restorations, and upgrades have been performed on this car.
There is no structural rust. The longitudinals are free of rust and strengthened by a stiffening kit. The last owner spent nine years making extensive modifications to the car while rarely driving it. I have continued to make additional modifications at significant expense while housing the car in a covered garage.
A significant amount of work has been performed by Brad Roberts, the San Francisco Bay Area 914 and 914/6 guru. All told, some $30,000 to $35,000 has been spent in upgrades and refurbishment on this car over the last four years. It’s mileage is astonishingly low for a car manufactured 34 years ago.

Chip, why did you post this comment on this photo gallery. I think you're confusing a lot of viewers about this 914-6 unless you know something I don't. Can you please contact me via email at ajserrano@msn.com and explain to me the relationship between "Brad Roberts" and this chassis s/n 914.043.2362. The curiosity is now killing me... Thank you.
