Seller's Description: This is our original 914-6. Charlie's Foreign Car Service has owned the vehicle since 1997. The vehicle's exterior color is Tangerine and its in extremely good shape. The interior color is black also in very good shape. This has the dog leg 1st gear shifter. This vehicle has its ignition switch on the left side of the steering wheel, this was for 914-6 only. This car does not retain the 14" Fuchs wheels. The wheels installed on this car are the more desireable Fuchs "deep 6". This is a 6" wide 15" dia. wheel, very rare. The rear fenders on this car were slightly flared to fit the wider wheels before we owned it, it appears that the factory original fender was actually cut and flared, I don't believe the rear quater panel was removed and a different one installed. This car on the bottom has no rust at all!! some very minor surface rust, but nothing needs to be done about it. The engine number is 640.5170, the engine # is located on the top of the case towards the rear of the engine next to the PCV breather. The engine # falls into the factory range #'s, I found this information on p914.com
