...Changing the ring and pinion ratio is one of the easiest ways to get the most acceleration out of your 915/916 gearbox in your 911 or 914-6 without having to change all the gears. These are Porsche factory ring and pinion sets as used in the 901, 915 and 916 gearboxes. Porsche also offered several other ring and pinions for racing including 7:37 ratios. These are not always available due to limited manufacturing qualities.
