The seller was a very reasonable man who was more concerned with the right person getting the car than getting top dollar for the car and he succeeded in doing just that.

This M-471 sold for $32.5k,what was the seller thinking? Just look what orginal six's are going for today.

I am the proud new owner of the Strenger GT. I've been pursuing an M471 GT for the past 19 years and for it to finally have one is an overwhelming feeling. I know that many others wanted this car too but I was the first to contact Gerhard and we made a real connection. Making the transaction with Gerhard was a great experience that I will never forget. This car has a wonderful history and I will do everything in my power to preserve if for the remainder of my driving days.

Please update me with your collective findings, agreements and research to hopefully clarify the information for chassis #0233 and chassis #234. For the sake of accuracy, is up to us ALL to try and reflect the most up-to-date and correct information available.

Again, I truly appreciate all your efforts and contributions. As we ALL know, just one bad piece of information, if allowed to go un-corrected, will go on for years, and years, and years and long after we're no longer around (as we have seen in many other books, websites, etc.).

I'm in contact with Mr. Blendstrup and he confirmed that this is really his car (shown at the new Brian Long book) - the ex Strenger GT.
Maybe Veloce could tell us from what year this photo is? This would make it easier to find out if this is the same car you listed as #0234? I hope we could solve this question ...

I'm pretty sure that I've found a picture from 914.1.43.0233 in younger years. It's in the new edition of the Brian long book on page 76. I took a photo and attached it (I was afraid that scanning could damage the book). Unfortunately there's no additional info on the car in this book, but I already mailed the publisher (Veloce) if they could tell us more.
