Having owned and raced a 914/4 I know the immense potential of these cars and the "poor second cousin" image it had within the Porsche family of cars.... to see it achieve the successes it had, knowing that factory support was always secondary to its big brother the 911... is truly gratifying... cheering for the underdog is always so much more rewarding than going with the favourite especially when the underdog "kicks ass"...
racing in the "old" days was something I was very privileged to experience and am forever grateful for...I still have and love my 914 and still remenice how awesome we were together....lol
