A friend induced me to search my stash of parts and in the process I discovered this 914-6 Engine Oil Cooler that I've had in storage for years. The oil cooler was pressure tested and ultrasonically cleaned. Please keep in mind that this is an OEM 914-6 engine oil cooler that was NOT just removed from a working car and taken out of service, the part has obviously been sitting out of harms way since 1990. Many of the 914-6 Engine Oil Coolers you find today have been in service and have a greater risk to failure even if those are now working. It's just simple statistics, and like anything else, parts will eventually fail (under 80-100+ psi of oil pressure).
